Creator: create, edit and test images.

Creator is an authoring application that allows you to create and import new virtual desktop images, or update an existing image. Creator’s MokaFive LivePC Optimizer tool will automatically implement best practices for virtual desktops into your image, and you can even add your own optimizations to avoid repetitive image maintenance tasks. Creator can run in Test Mode to simulate an end-user’s experience, including security policies, even before you upload your new version.

Management Server: installs in minutes, serves thousands.

The MokaFive server can be installed, on a single box or across multiple machines, in minutes. And because virtual desktop execution happens on user computers, a single server can manage up to 5,000 users. Horizontally scale the management server and virtual desktop image distribution points to support any size organization. Application Gateway protects your network, yet allows updates to go to computers with just an Internet connection—no VPN required.

Image Store: network-friendly.

Image updates are compressed differentials, greatly reducing network utilization. Bandwidth use is dynamically adjusted to share network capacity. Image stores can be placed close to users, so WAN traffic is minimized. Amazon S3 can be used as an image store to reach far-flung offices without deploying dedicated servers.

Application Gateway: no VPN required.

Mobile and home users will typically be off your corporate network. Application Gateway allows you to securely reach these users to issue updates, change policy settings, or even revoke or kill their MokaFive LivePC virtual desktops. Users receive these updates over any Internet connection, without requiring a VPN.

Player: hypervisor-agnostic, or bare metal

MokaFive Player is a lightweight application that end-users install on their computers, including bare metal. It controls the entire virtual desktop, including the underlying hypervisor. MokaFive is hypervisor-agnostic, so your organization is not locked into a specific virtualization platform.

BareMetal Player is a special-purpose virtual desktop execution environment that can be installed onto the bare metal of a computer. When deployed to corporate machines, BareMetal Player allows you to avoid the management effort and licensing of the host computer. BareMetal Player is designed for security and performance and can run the same virtual desktop deployed to host-installed Players.
