This gentoo-based LivePC includes Firefox, Acrobat Reader, Thunderbird, GAIM, and MPlayer. There is no VPN support, search for the secure remote access LivePC if you want this same environment with VPN support. It's preconfigured to just boot up right into the web browser.
This has the full software portage tree at your finger tips.
You can find a library to install by typing,
emerge --search LIBRARY_OR_PROGRAM, i.e. emerge --search vorbis, will give you a list including the OGG vorbis libraries and tools to work with vorbis files.
You can install a library by typing,
sudo emerge LIBRARY, i.e.
sudo emerge boost, will install the boost c++ libraries.
You can install a program by typing,
sudo emerge PROGRAM, i.e.
sudo emerge cvs, will install the CVS revision control system.

Squishy SquashFS
I roughly followed these directions and put the portage tree into a SquashFS. There are some scripts in /opt/moka5 that rebuild the image. I used UnionFS to make it possible to keep the portage tree writable.
