Laptop or desktop with an external monitor Intel, Nvidia, or AMD Attaching an external monitor while BareMetal is running will set the display to "Extend" mode, regardless of previous display settings. Attach external monitors before powering on BareMetal.
Laptop or desktop with running LivePC Intel, Nvidia, or AMD Attaching a monitor while the LivePC is running causes the monitor to display a blank screen. Workaround: Press Win-P or click "Go to Moka5 Player." The monitor will begin to display in extended mode.
Host in sleep mode Intel, Nvidia, or AMD Hosts may not detect monitors if the monitor is plugged in while the host is sleeping. Wake up the host before attaching an external monitor.

BareMetal 4.0.x and Earlier, and Windows XP LivePCs

BareMetal versions 4.0.x and earlier, as well as Windows XP LivePCs, do not support multiple displays. Upgrade to 4.1 and 4.1 Guest Tools with a Windows 7 LivePC to take advantage of BareMetal’s dual display enhancements.

In 3.16, we introduced the ability to set the screen resolution for BareMetal from inside the LivePC. In BareMetal versions 4.0.x and earlier, you can set screen resolution from inside the LivePC tray menu.
