3D Gaming demo in LivePC virtual machine

As you all know that we released Virtual Machine 3D Graphics Acceleration for preview a couple months back (see blog posting). We have integrated the 3D Graphics support in our latest LivePC Engine release and the moka5tools. You can now play any games on your Windows XP LivePC.

Here are a couple videos that show the games running inside the LivePC virtual machine:

Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) LivePC is ready for download

We have updated the Ubuntu 7.04 LivePC from beta to the final release. If you have subscribed to that LivePC, you don't need to do anything as it will be updated automatically. If you are new to Ubuntu and you want to try it out, you can stream it from here.

We have also posted a couple videos to show up how Ubuntu works as a LivePC. Check them out.

Custom made moka5 USB flash drives available (Vista ReadyBoost capable)

We worked directly with a hardware manufacturer and custom made some high performance 1G USB flash memory drives.

moka5 LivePC FAQ is now available

We just made some improvements on our website. First, we have put together a page for the answers to some frequency asked questions (FAQ). You can check it out here.

Another thing we did is to make the website and the forum searchable. The search box is at the upper right hand corner. Give it a try.

Here are some more pictures from the CES at Las Vegas.

Live from CES 2007. The final day.

Finally, it's over!! What a week! We are now sitting at the airpot waiting for our flight home.

During the week, we had so many visitors that we ran out of brochures by Wednesday morning. Luckily there is a Kinko near by. We've also given away all our blinking ice cubes and our pens (people love our bright orange color pens).

One of the guys told me that, out of the whole CES, he spent the most time at the moka5 booth. People also love our all-in-one game controller and our 3D graphics in LivePC. We were hot!!

I would like to thank all the people who visited us at CES. Thanks for all the positive comments. I hope you will have a chance to try out the LivePCs soon.

We have a perfect solution for you. Try it out using our LivePC technology. Just install LivePC Engine and then go here to download the Vista LivePC. If you have a big enough USB drive, you can even put Vista on it and show it off to your friends.

Bring your Videos and Music downloads with You

We just created two new LivePCs for you to play with. One is called PocketDemocracy. It is a pre-configured Democracy TV running on GenToo Linux. People called Democracy a "TiVo for the internet" or a "Firefox for videos." It allows you connect to all of the big video hosting sites and thousands of independent publishers.

Another one is called Songbird. It is a Ubuntu Linux with Songbird per-installed. Songbird is a desktop Web player, a digitial jukebox and Web browser mash-up. It is similar to Democracy but it is for online audio.
