Server Engineer
Responsibilities
We are looking for an outstanding Engineer to help us build the server component of our virtualization management suite. This is a critical component and a great opportunity to have an impact immediately.
Required
- 2-10+ years software development experience.
- 3+ years experience developing reliable and scalable server software.
- 1+ years experience with PHP.
- 2+ years experience with HTML and CSS. You do not need to be a UI specialist, but you need to be able to do the basics.
- Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field (or equivalent experience).
- Willingness to work hard and do what it takes – even if it's not in the job description. We are a start-up, after all.
Preferred
- Experience with Single Sign On.
- Experience integrating best-of-breed applications into a single unified Web experience (e.g. blogs, forums, commerce).
- Experience with JavaScript, Ajax, etc.
- Experience with Python, Perl, Java or Ruby.
- Knowledge of and experience with virtualization.
- Experience with commercial software development.
- Experience with multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac).
