Tech Brief: Extending Support for Windows XP Apps
With the upcoming End of Life (EoL) for Microsoft Windows XP, there’s a strong push from many vendors (especially Microsoft) to get everyone migrated to a supported Windows version as soon as possible. At Moka5 we understand there are many reasons why you just can’t get every application updated and operating on Windows 7 or Windows 8.
On April 8th, Microsoft will officially end support for Windows XP. While Microsoft has indicated they will continue to update the XP malware engine and AV signatures “for a limited time” beyond that date, tech support and patches will no longer be provided, except through custom extended support agreements and only if you are a Microsoft Premier Customer.
