Position: Server Software developer

Do you want to fundamentally change the way people use their desktops and laptops?  We’re a pre-IPO Silicon Valley company with great customers, a phenomenal team, and a constantly evolving product that we hold up to high standards.  We're supported by top drawer investors, and we’re a great place to work if you really like what you do every day to be able to have an immediate impact.

Responsibilities

• Build ground-breaking new features for MokaFive’s desktop virtualization platform
• Work closely with product management, architects and other teams
• Devise ingenious solutions for fascinating problems

Requirements

• BS in computer science or related field experience
• Proficiency with Java
• At least 2 years of coding experience: multi-threaded applications, object-oriented programming
• Ability to pick up a new system or technology, take it apart, and figure out how it works
• Ready to learn from and contribute to the team

Bonus points

• Worked with multiple languages, multiple OSes, and multiple systems
• Experience of current web frameworks (e.g. GWT) an advantage
• Familiarity with Hibernate
• Exposure to widely distributed data management approaches, such as Hadoop
• Experience with web services technologies such as REST or SOAP
• Knowledge of networking technologies and concepts, TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS & Firewalls etc

• Work with a variety of technologies including Windows file system virtualization, client security, network protocols and authoring tools

Requirements

• BS in computer science or related field experience
• At least 2 years of coding experience: multi-threaded applications, object-oriented programming
• Ability to pick up a new system or technology, take it apart, and figure out how it works
• Ready to learn from and contribute to the team

Bonus points

• Worked with multiple languages, multiple OSes, and multiple systems
• Experience using, manipulating and hacking Windows, Macs, and Linux machines
• Experience with C++, QT, STL, Boost
